Entry qualification and requirements
Postgraduate diploma (or higher) The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / Italian. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. If you hold a foreign title, please deliver the original documents in person to your student office to finalize your enrolment. Language requirements
English Accepted proof of proficiency: FCE or CAE, IELTS 5.5+ or TOEFL 69+ Italian The Second Cycle Degree in “Architecture and City Sustainability” offers all courses both in Italian and in English. To attend the course in Italian , it is compulsory to present an Italian language certification equivalent to B2 QCFR level. The University of Parma recognizes also the following certifications: Università per stranieri di Perugia CELI , Università per stranieri di Siena CILS , Università Roma Tre ROMA3, Società “Dante Alighieri” PLIDA (other certification are NOT recognized). If you don’t have an Italian certification it is compulsory to pass an Italian language test, more information at this link: www.unipr.it/en/node/107129 To attend the course in English , a certified B2 English level is required. In this case, a certificate of the actual English level must be added in the attachments sent for the pre-evaluation procedure. The certificates recognized by the University of Parma are: TOEFL , IELTS , Trinity College London ( TCL ), Pearsons LTD , City and Guilds (Pitman), Cambridge English language assessment, EDI ( LCCIEB ), (other certification are NOT recognized, example: Duolingo)

At least 1 reference(s) should be provided. References are not mandatory but appreciated. A relevant portfolio is required. Is not mandatory, but recommended. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS : In order to be admitted to the Second-cycle Degree Course in Architecture, it is necessary to be in possession of a three-year university degree or diploma (M.D. 270/2004, art. 6) or another qualification obtained abroad, recognized as suitable. Prior to enrolment, possession of the curricular requirements must be ascertained and the adequacy of personal preparation verified, in accordance with the procedures specified and fully defined in the Degree Course Regulations.
