Entry qualification and requirements
Undergraduate diploma (or higher) To be admitted to the Master’s Degree Program in Environmental Engineering for Risk Mitigation, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree or a three-year university diploma, or another qualification obtained abroad and recognized as suitable. Before enrollment, the following must be verified: possession of the curricular requirements and adequacy of personal preparation, according to the procedures specified below. Curricular Requirements Curricular requirements are automatically met by holding a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, or Hydraulic Engineering. For other degrees, the correspondence between completed courses and the required sectors (40 ECTS in basic subjects and 60 ECTS in related subjects) will be assessed by the Commission. If minor gaps exist, within the maximum integration allowed by the University’s Academic Regulations, the Commission may admit the candidate conditionally, requiring completion of these courses before the second semester begins. English Accepted proof of proficiency: FCE or CAE, IELTS 5.5+ or TOEFL 69+ Accepted certifications include TOEFL iBT (72 points or higher), IELTS (5.5 or higher), Pearson Test of English Academic (59 points or higher), FCE , CAE , CPE , ISE -II/III/IV Trinity College London, or a university degree taught entirely in English (minimum 2 academic years, 120 ECTS ) from specified countries. Courses in basic subjects (40 ECTS ) and related subjects (60 ECTS ) must have been completed with a total GPA higher than 3.2 (scale 1–4) or equivalent. Are exempted to provide one of the above certifications : - Mother tongue students; - Medium of Instruction ( MOI ) of a previous title held in English language: please provide an official letter from previous University indicating the language in which the diploma or the degree was obtained.
