Entry qualification and requirements
Undergraduate diploma (or higher) N. B. for non-EU/EFTA applicants: the gap since your completed Bachelor degree should not exceed five years. Bachelor’s degree in the humanities or social sciences, or a minimum of 15 ECTS credits in linguistics, literature, and/or cultural studies is required for admission to the English Studies programme with specialisations in Literature, Linguistics, Culture or Media Linguistics Bachelor’s degree in the humanities is required for admission to the English Studies programme with specialisations in Linguistics If your qualification meets the requirements, you will receive an invitation for a motivational interview. Important: additional country-specific requirements are set only for the following countries which you can find HERE ( STEP 2). The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / Lithuanian. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. Language requirements
English English language proficiency (at least C1 level according to the CEFR ), as demonstrated by passing one of the international examinations: • IELTS : 7+; • TOEFL : 587+ (paper based) arba 94+ (iBT internet-based test); • Pearson PTE Academic: 76+; • LanguageCert IESOL : C1; • Duolingo English test: 130+; Or other proof of proficiency in English at C1 level according to the CEFR . If you are a native speaker and/or if the English language was the medium of instruction in your previous studies, you will be exempt from providing an English language test score.
Other requirements
Applicants from Bangladesh, Nepal and Pakistan must submit OMPT -C (Online Mathematics Placement Test) Certificate (minimum passing grade – 55%).
