About this programme
The Master's programme in Chemistry comprises three core modules, which can be freely combined from all offered sub-disciplines of chemistry: Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Bioanalysis, Theoretical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Sustainable Chemistry. Information: https://www.uni-regensburg.de/en/chemie-pharmazie/studieren/im-studium/studiengaenge/msc-chemistry In addition to free module selection, we offer students the opportunity to choose specialisation studies. 1) MSc Chemistry with a focus on Bioanalysis: Bioanalysis – an interdisciplinary field providing the methodologies to study fundamental questions of life and to cope with life’s challenges in health diagnostics, pharmacy and medical technology. From probing single cells or molecules to providing point-of-care diagnostics to screening for new pharmaceutical drugs: developing novel bioanalytical tools is the basis of it all. The Master of Chemistry with a focus on Bioanalysis aims at training a next generation of bioanalytical chemists who will have a broad foundation in chemical knowledge and an in-depth understanding of this interdisciplinary field.
