About this programme
Come and shape the new space era! With our MSc in Space Engineering, you will be equipped with broad theoretical and practical knowledge in modern space technologies, while being able to specialise in fields like human space exploration, space robotics or sustainability in space applications (and more). Bremen hosts a vibrant ecosystem of aerospace companies and institutes that will boost your career start. In the first two semesters, you will acquire solid foundations in the key disciplines. In the third and fourth semesters, a broad portfolio of elective courses, a project and the Master’s thesis will allow you to shape your individual curriculum. A requirement for admission is an online entrance exam covering engineering mechanics, fluid mechanics and thermodynamics. The test is held between one and two weeks after the application deadline; further information will be provided upon application. Following the present expertise in the area of space engineering and technology, the executive committee of the faculty of production engineering (FB4) has agreed to apply for the establishment of a Master’s programme in Space Engineering. The Master’s programme in Space Engineering is superior to generic aerospace studies offered by other universities. While the faculty of production engineering will host the interdisciplinary Master’s studies, other faculties, such as the departments of physics, electrical engineering, mathematics, and computer science, support and complement the
