About this programme
The Bachelor of Arts programme in German-Italian Studies is an international course of study with joint degrees. It arose from the cooperation between the Universities of Florence and Bonn. The course of study is focused on philological and cultural knowledge about Italy and Germany and leads to a specific ability to impart German and Italian culture. The students take classes that are offered by the Department of Romance Studies as well as the Department of German Studies. This curriculum includes lectures and courses in literature, media and (inter)cultural studies, and linguistics as well as language courses. Within the curriculum, it is possible to study a minor subject in political science, sociology or art history. It also includes a practical training period.
