- Entry qualification and requirements
- Undergraduate diploma (or higher) Previous education: Bachelor degree of natural sciences in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, physics, environmental science and environmental management or nature protection; or bachelor degree of engineering science in chemical technology, environmental engineering, medical engineering or food production technology; or bachelor degree of health sciences in pharmacy, or comparable education. The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations in English along with verified copies of the original. All education documents not originally in English must be accompanied by official translations which you can receive directly from your school, or you may get a notary-approved translation.

- English If you are a non-native English speaker and your previous education was not conducted in English, you must submit one of the following internationally recognised English proficiency certificates: IELTS (5.5 or above); TOEFL iBT (72 or above)*; TOEFL paper-based (532 or above); TOEIC (780 or above); Cambridge English Language Assessment (B2 first); Pearson PTE (59 or above); Duolingo (100 or above). If English was the language of instruction for your entire previous education, you may upload a letter or grade transcript from your school or university confirming this. *Riga Technical University TOEFL code: 8498
- Other requirements
- At least 1 reference(s) should be provided. A motivation letter must be added to your application. As part of the admissions process, the student will be invited to an online interview. They may record it at a time of their choosing but no later than 7 days from the time of receiving an invitation. More details will be provided after application submission. Additionally, applicants will need to complete an online Chemistry exam and interview which will be conducted over Zoom. Your answers will be forwarded to the programme director who will inform us about your results.
