- Entry qualification and requirements
- Undergraduate diploma (or higher) A professional bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology, or A second-level higher professional education, if at least 90 credit-points have been earned in computer science and information technology courses, and entrance exams: an essay and a discussion. The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations in English along with verified copies of the original. All education documents not originally in English must be accompanied by official translations which you can receive directly from your school, or you may get a notary-approved translation.

- English If you are a non-native English speaker and your previous education was not conducted in English, you must submit one of the following internationally recognised English proficiency certificates: IELTS (5.5 or above); TOEFL iBT (72 or above)*; TOEFL paper-based (532 or above); TOEIC (780 or above); Cambridge English Language Assessment (B2 first); Pearson PTE (59 or above); If English was the language of instruction for your entire previous education, you may upload a letter or grade transcript from your school or university confirming this. *Riga Technical University TOEFL code: 8498

- At least 1 reference(s) should be provided. A motivation letter must be added to your application. As part of the admissions process, the student will be invited to an online interview . They may record it at a time of their choosing but no later than 7 days from the time of receiving an invitation. More details will be provided after application submission. Additional Requirements: Entrance report: the report should focus on a freely chosen and relevant research problem in the Information and Communication (IC) field (consisting of 5 to 10 pages). The assessment criteria include: The relevance of the chosen problem, The originality of the work, The connection to practical applications, Its relation to the selected field. Entrance discussion: the discussion will address the significance of the research problem within the Information and Communication Technology ( ICT ) field, as well as applicant’s professional experience in the industry.
