About this programme

As a statistician, you are urgently needed in a wide range of industries. Since many students discover their enthusiasm for statistics during their Bachelor's degree, our Master's programme is designed in such a way that students with Bachelor's degrees in a wide range of subjects can also complete it: From business administration and economics to psychology and forestry. The programme focuses on practical relevance. You will not only learn the methodology, but also how to practically implement the analysis of complex data in software packages such as R and finally prepare and present it in a generally understandable way. You can do the internship, the project seminar and the final thesis together with a practice partner from the business world to gain first-hand experience and important contacts. To ensure that you are optimally prepared for your desired career, you have the opportunity to specialise in the subsidiary subjects of economics, life sciences, empirical social research and computer science.
