About this programme

Our aim is to educate you to work in advanced specialist tasks in the field of ICT, focusing on two fields: Networking and Services, and Medical Technology. The studies enable you to follow the professional development of the field, both from the applied research and practical viewpoints. Continuous learning is a must in all professional tasks and ICT is one of the fastest developing technical fields. The program is targeted for professionals in working life wishing to become a Master in Information Technology. Studies are designed and implemented in such a way that students in full-time employment can participate. The Master´s degree gives a student the latest knowledge in a specialized area of Information Technology by giving the following competencies: Broad view to information and medical technology presented by leading companies in the field Up-to-date knowledge on selected topics Ability to conduct a professional research study Ability to evaluate and develop your own knowledge and capabilities Valuable network of experts to boost your career The degree consists of Professional Studies (30 ECTS) and Master’s thesis project (30 ECT). Studies consist of lectures, laboratory work, workshops, assignments, and projects as well as independent studying.
