About this programme

This bachelor's programme tackles the most critical challenges of the built environment and it prepares to address major societal transformations such as the energy transition, urbanisation, resource efficiency, climate change, and digitalisation. You will learn to shape the built environment and understand that the built environment is more than buildings, mobility, and water management. We educate civil engineers who are ready for the challenges of tomorrow. As a graduate, you will know how to lead the transformation of the built environment – from the big picture to practical implementation. You will be able to translate global trends into concrete solutions with real impact. Collaboration with the LAB University of Applied Sciences and industry partners connects academic thinking to real-world practice. The bachelor’s programme provides a strong foundation for master’s degree studies. After completing your bachelor’s degree, you can continue your studies directly in the civil engineering master’s programme, which covers the key areas of the built environment with a strong emphasis on sustainability and impact. The master’s programme will start in 2028.
