Entry qualification and requirements
Bachelor diploma (or higher) The MA in Photography has a practical exam. The practical exam requires the submission of an application electronically. Content of the application: a CV, a motivation essay with an indication of the candidate’s creative goals, an electronic extract from the candidate’s transcript and an electronic version of the portfolio of professional work. The practical test will consist of an online interview with the candidate, during which an electronic version of the candidate’s portfolio will be presented. There are no specific requirements as to the content or format of the portfolio. Professional experience will be an advantage in the assessment. BA / Bsc degree, having experiences in visual arts proven by a submitted portfolio, motivation letter, successful matriculation process, min. B2 level of English. The minimum number of credits required for admission to the Master’s programme is 60 credits in the fields of art, theory of photography, professional competences in photography, humanities and social sciences, economics, philosophy and law, media studies, communication and presentation skills, entrepreneurship. English Accepted proof of proficiency: FCE or CAE, IELTS 6+ or TOEFL 79+ ​​​​Certificate of secondary education accomplished in English may also be taken into account. Bachelor’s degrees from English-speaking countries are also acceptable. Applicants need to present an official (duly signed and stamped) justification that the medium of instruction for the applicant’s entire study programme was English.
