France runs two routes. DAP (demande d'admission préalable) is the Études en France route for first-year undergraduate entry from the 73 countries where Campus France operates: registrations open 1 October 2025 and close 15 December 2025, universities answer before 30 April 2026 and the student accepts before 31 May 2026. Applicants who are EU nationals, or who are already in France, use Parcoursup instead: the platform opens 17 December 2025, applications are made between 19 January and 12 March 2026, the list of choices is confirmed by 1 April 2026 and the main admission phase runs from 2 June to 11 July 2026. Entry above first year, and master's entry, goes through the institution directly or through MonMaster.
